If you’re serious about tennis or even wanting a little more challenge than the social games you’ve been playing - then Interclub is the competition for you. Interclub is all about being a team player, and is a great way to improve your game!

Teams

Thorndon currently field 9 mens and womens teams including 4 in the premier ASB Regional competition (Mens 1 + 2, Womens 1 + 3), and 5 in the Slazenger competition, so there is bound to be a team that fits your standard. We can also enter new teams if there is sufficient interest.

What happens?

Where possible, you will be placed in a team from 4 – 8 players of similar graded ability & with a team captain. You play once a week on Saturday, 8:30-12 noon for Slazenger teams, and 1-5pm for ASB teams. Games are alternated throughout the Wellington region and you would be expected to travel or you could have a home game. Most teams train together on Tuesday nights.
