Thorndon Club Members are are very diverse and interesting lot. With our CBD location our catchment area is all of the Wellington Region which makes for a very broad cross section of Wellington's society.

Pat Metham is currently playing in the US as part of the Arizona College 'Wildcats' team. They and Pat have achieved record breaking performance this season with a straight 14-0 match result so far. Arizona is ranked #20 out of 250 or so teams. The latest match saw them beat the #8 team, Stanford for one of the biggest upsets of the season. Remember this is the environment where a lot of the great US players hone their skills. Think Pete Sampras.
